Alsex, FYI - the virus installed a program that hijacked my computer browsers and operating system telling me that there are viruses that need to be cleaned out. All the virus warning pop up windows link to a 'Platinum Virus Protection Software' It is a ploy to get your credit card info and steal $'s. When I tried to run my Norton virus protection to clear out the virus, my computer would just reboot and bring up the same pop up virus alert windows. It was in that deep. I could not even get into my own files or applications. I had to hire some professional tech help to clear out the mess. Took them over an hour cleaning up the registry and locating all the hidden links. Not fun.

PC has some good advice I feel.
