After posting my recent entry soliciting nominations for "Best '60s Flip", I though of another, which I submit here. Remember "The Patty Duke Show"? "Patty Lane", Brooklyn teenager, possessed a flip, while "Cathy Lane", her visiting English cousin, did not. Of course, both roles were portrayed by Patty Duke (using special effects that must today seem quite primitive but then were enough to inspire more than one pubescent erection.... ). Does anyone have any more nominations or, as an alternative, can quote the lyrics to the show's theme song?
