If you want a browser with tabs and built in pop-up blocker, but still is still based on IE then try Slimbrowser. Do a google search to download it. It's an excellent browser with all kinds of features, but it is worth it just for the tabs and the pop-up stopper. I rarely if ever see a pop-up anymore, but it doesn't close windows you actually want to see like others I've tried. Avantbrowser is another one I've tried that's similar to Slimbrowser which is good also.
