I did not have any long hair idols growing up. My hair was very long as a child. In fact my first hair cut was when I was 9 years old and a girl friend of my fathers talked me in to cutting it. I have to say I was upset after cutting it as much as my father was. I had it cut short again when I was about 13 (just below my chin) and then again cut it when I was 16 (to my shoulders) That was the last time I ever cut my hair short. I really don't remember ever really seeing may "stars" with long hair that really stuck in my mind.
