Your adventure on the plane reminds me of something that I used to do in my misbegotten youth, elevator hair cruising. I live in a large city with many high buildings and hundreds of elevators. The object is to be first into a crowded elevator.You walk to the back and turn around. Now eeveryone else that enters the elevator is in front of you,with their backs to you.These buildings are full of beautiful,professional women , many with gorgeous, immaculetly dressed hair. If you are lucky, it is possible to ride many floors with your face only inches away from one of these lushious, fragrent heads of hair, and if the elevator is very crowded it is possibly to actually, gently, push your face into her hair without her, or anyone else noticing. It's really sweet, and as far as I know, I never got caught.
