I think the growth of hair are not same for all kinds of hair. But i think if ur girlfriend's hair is sraight it will be knee length within 1- 1.5 year.

And if it is wavy it will take more time. bcoz as far as I know about hair growth of my sister. her hair becomes I.5 inch more long within 2 months. and her hair is sraight. thanks
