Actually, I have a question about these...
My gripe about almost all the shampoo commercials available (including those on your site, and just about everywhere else) is that they are tiny. At the typical avi or mpg or mov file size, you get a postage-stamp sized video.
Somebody out there is recording these off analog or digital broadcasts, cable or sat systems. All of those origial recordings are MUCH bigger and higher resolution - like watching the originals on TV - and then they're downsampling them radically, literally throwing away most of the image data. The result? Blurry, small, postage-stamp videos. Better than nothing, but so much is being lost! What a shame that is! I bet a lot of folks would value them a lot more if they weren't so small/low rez.
I know I'd be a lot more enthusiastic about sharing if others would make the effort to keep them available in larger/higher resolution format.
Yeah, I know, the file sizes get big and the download times get longer (believe me, I know). But I still think it's worth it. The great thing about these commercials is the exquisite detail - the stunning, shimmering silky hair. It's worth preserving that detail!
Would you consider keeping bigger/higher resolution versions of these videos?
