I had a similar experience to pc. When I met my wife her hair was about 4-5 inches below her shoulders, and on one of our first dates she said she was still growing it. "How long?" I asked. "Down to my bum, if it'll grow that far," she said. WOW!! I thought.

Uh-uh. No dice.

BSL or a tiny bit longer was as far as it ever got. In the last twenty years it's never been past her shoulders, and sometimes a fair bit shorter than that.

She knows I like long hair, but she seems to think it's a bit of a perversion on my part. And have you ever tried telling your lady you don't like her new haircut? Not recommended.

THAT'S how a long hair lover ends up with a short-haired wife, my friends. THAT'S why some of us have to resort to fantasising and looking at pictures on the web.
