the stricter the screening the better quality the forum will be- for obvious reasons, less spam, bs etc. However, that puts a great deal more work upon you, pc, and your moderators, to check folks out ahead of time- will that be too much? Moreover, even with the checking, some will fool you folks and get through right? So it will end up in the same place eventually; the key question there is how long until that time. The main question, I think, is will this vetting/checking be worth the time it will take to actually do it? Lastly, I do agree with the others, dont ignor you old forum(s)!
