These viruses that look in an address book and send an emal to a person in the address book as though it's from another person in the address book are a real nuisance. Get lots like it, plus emails complaining I've sent someone a message with a virus, when they've never had anything from me.


To protect against this, I'm set up so there are no addresses retained on my email program - I keep everything on a list on a Wordpad document.


Regarding protection, I've found nothing beats Norton's Pro version, altough it is expensive it has caught viruses and GoBack which comes with it has enabled files to be restored to an earlier state swice after really serious crashes.
