I am a young girl in my twenties , around 5 feet tall, slim, weighing
only 49 kgs. I had shoulder length hair till the age of 14. After
that my mother never allowed me to cut my hair.
You know I have had to promise that I will never allow scissors to
touch my hair! As a result my hair has grown to my ankles now.
Surprisingly it is thick till the end and straight although I am
never allowed to trim my hair.
It is really very difficult to maintain long thick silky hair up to
my ankles . All my life everyone has admired my long hair. Some have
admired from far but some have become demanding and intimate and have
touched and played with my hair! It is very embarrassing! If I go out
with my hair in a huge bun, ladies pester me with questions of how
long is my hair, how do I maintain. what shampoo and oil do I use
etc. Some are very insistent and ask me to open my hair! They don't
realize how difficult it is for me to open my hair in an open public
place! In crowded trains and buses some ladies even go to the extent
of trying to open my bun! Everyday I am having some experience with
my long hair!
Once I had to go out with my hair in a plait. I tied my hair in a
loose plait, no clips, just one garter below my hips-my hair was open
below my hips to my ankles. Even after wearing three inch heels,my
plait was only six inches above the ground. In a single plait my hair
is over five inches thick!
When I was entering Metro station, a sudden gust of air from the blower at the entrance blew my loose hair on my face-I couldn't see for a moment and tripped on the stairs going down. Strong hands held me by my waist and prevented my fall. I could get the strong smell of cologne and gently a hand slowly brushed the hair from my
face. "Thank you" was all I could stammer"It seems like a dream-are you Rapunzel in real life!"He replied
smilingly.I blushed and disengaged myself from his strong arms .
Having disengaged myself from his arms, I slowly descended the stairs-
he kept walking by my side.
I was wearing a blue silk saree low below my navel with a low backcut
sleeveless blouse. I was wearing long earrings, a necklace and bangles. I had put on some sober makeup - eye sha rouge on my
cheeks and red lipstick. I did not have any clips in my hair that day
and had only one garter at my hips – the rest of my hair was open
upto my ankles and hitting the back of my legs as I walked down the
stairs.
