found an easy way to get rid of every message cummin' up da dreaded red.

Like you, when I log on to the Forum every post is bright red...ugh...what to do is:

open up a message you KNOW you've read

then

Click on "show All Messages" on the top right

and

voila

everything should be as you want it when the list re-appears.

sounds over-simple but it works for an eejit like me
