It makes me wonder if there must be so much effort going into long hair. I was married to a woman with tailbone length hair foor many years, and as far as I remember, maintenance or care never really was a problem for her.

I will always regret that I never tried to talk her into going for classic or thigh length. I think there were points in time when she would have been quite open for that.
