I’ve tried a few times, she much prefers having it about shoulder length because it is less hassle to wash/take care of.

Luckily for me she can be quite lazy when it comes to getting haircuts so I have a period where it’s longer than she likes it and I can enjoy playing with it etc.

It’s always kept extremely healthy though and is incredibly soft and silky to touch
