It is simply never right to bomb innocent civilians or to invade peaceful neighbouring countries.

What you seem to embrace as "religion" just means cowardly and inhumane indifference to human suffering and misery. Would you - along with God, of course - find it right if the young longhair beauty from Kiev posted here were torn to pieces by Russian shells in her flat? Or if that happened to your wife or children?

Down with politics here? Only lazy thinkers would naively refuse to acknowledge that politics pervade everything everywhere anyway.

The mere fact that we can freely exchange our innocent love of long hair here is a consequence of the Western democracies´ belief in and practice of the freedom of opinion and the individual pursuit of happiness. In any dictatorhip, we could be easily called criminals and perverts, be persecuted for our (innocent) fetisch, and sent into labour camps if it pleased the tyrant.

Not even the most beautiful and innocent music is unpolitical. In the 1930s Ukrainian musicians were invited to Moscow to show their ancient folk art of playing the bandura (an incredibly wonderful instrument with many strings), just to be killed by Stalin´s men because the bandura for the dictator symbolized Ukrainian patriotism that Stalin wanted to crush.

By the way, I´m not Ukraianian. I´m just an empathic human being with open ears and eyes.
