Several years ago she cut her calf-length hair to a short bob. She sold a video of the cut (and I assume the hair) to help raise money for medical expenses. I'm not sure if the medical expenses were for her or a family member.

Over the years she grew her hair back to around thigh or knee. It is a shame that she is losing her hair once again, this time not of her choosing.
