I'm putting on my flame-proof hate suit on for a moment.

Just my opinion, but I prefer hair clean, smooth and soft. I really don't get all this talk. Practically speaking it's pretty gross and makes it impossible touch her, much less run your fingers through her hair.

Is there an appeal for some in making a sticky mess of otherwise beautiful hair? Or is there a hyperbolic belief in that stuff as a magic shampoo?
