The longest was a lady whose hair I have trimmed for nearly forty years. The color of dark chocolate and 8 FEET LONG! It was to the floor plus a few feet. She wore it like this for more than ten years. About five years ago she began to experience hair loss from the traction on her scalp. She asked for a "short" cut, which resulted in her having mid thigh length hair. Which she noted felt like almost nothing after 8 feet of hair. She presented me with the shorn ponytail as a souvenir, which I sadly accepted.
