Im friends with Amie on facebook. In December 2018 she cut 20 inches off her hair and donated it for the 5th time. The previous donations were in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. The post above about a creepy guy grinning and holding her hair to scissors is her husband during her first donation. He’s not a long hair guy (the world just isnt fair). She was super nervous and scared the first time and took a lot of peer pressure to go through with it, mainly from her husband. She even said right before that cut was when her hair was at the longest (calf length).

Her hair is red now (looks natural), not blonde like the hwas videos. She keeps going shorter every donation. It would be an extreme length that she would take up to waist length, so still long by mainstream standards. But the last donation was just past waist length to a few inches past her shoulders/mid back.
