I think we agree more than you are indicating in your response. No one should tell anyone what to do or not to do with their own body, or be hateful to others about their choices. I mean this in a sense that goes way beyond hairstyles, but it applies there.

That being said, enjoy the privilege you have of being able to grow your hair so long. Not all of us have that privilege, due to the fact that my above statement unfortunately isn't universally agreed upon.
