For the Mac, I use a 2-finger single tap on the touchpad over the movie to open the menu.

Select "Download Linked File As..." and save to your computer. The video is in .m4v format and by default will open in Windows. So... while pointing to the video on your computer, do the same 2-finger single tap on the touchpad to open the menu... and select "Open with"... and then select Mac Media Player. I have version 2.17.2.
