I've been struggling with this for some time now, I'm sure a lot of you are too, so maybe someone has a solution.

I have tons of material (not all hair related), close to 3TB. I have it across 7 or 8 different external hard drives. I'm sure I have a lot of duplicate stuff, but to sort through would take too long.

Here's my problem: I'm always worried that one (or more!) of the hard drives will go bust, and I will lose my material.

Back-ups is the obvious thing to do, but could get expensive and would take heck of a long time (7 TB!). Does anyone know a reliable/cheap/fast way to do this?

What about this whole cloud thing? Has anyone done that? Is it practical? I don't want to spend money and time putting all my vids there, and then finding out it takes forever to watch them! Also, is it safe? All my stuff is "legit" (no underage stuff) but I still don't want to take the risk that someone snooping around could hack into it, and trace it back to me.

I reckon this "problem" is only gonna get bigger, since more and more stuff keeps coming out, and the sizes of these files are also generally getting much bigger (sometimes 2GB for a 15 minute clip!)
