Thanks for posting this one, which I hadn't seen before. Can you please tell me what the date of the publication was?

The author is referring to either The Sun Also Rises or For Whom the Bell Tolls (probably the latter ), in which Hemingway's main character falls in love with a nurse. He famously describes her long hair falling around them and creating a tent.
