Seems like you would have to share something (even empty folder) to make me able to see that you have added me as a contact, which is quite dumb.
I saw only people who have added me as contact and shared something with me, so I am basically unable to share and see anyone else.
It's a no go for the MEGA on the bigger scale, I guess that it would be better to use at least Google Drive.
