I hear ya, CC!

It's amazing how different people's perspectives are. For example, anything ABOVE knee length is, IMO, "short" hair.

I've seen women walking around in public, with maybe hair down to their butt, strutting around like their hair is all that lol. I usually have my hair up when I'm running around stores, etc., but I tell you, I just wanna say, "Honey, lemme show you what long hair really is!" (insert Jack Nicholson as the Joker: "Wait til they get a load of me") But I say nothing, go about my business & move on down the road. I know what I got, I don't need to prove anything.

Because my hair is a bit past floor length, I usually have it up in public. Folks don't know to react to hair like mine (Jack Nicholson again: "You can't handle the truth!") They don't know what to say, they don't know NOT to touch it without permission, they get all up in your business, ahhhhhhhhh! It's ridiculous!

But yes, I agree, it's sad at what some folks consider "long hair"
