As a Labor Day-themed activity, I watched 1979's "Norma Rae" with Sally Field in an Academy Award-winning performance last night and was once again entranced by her beautiful long brunette mane, which even the male protagonist, a labor organizer played by the undersung Ron Liebman, praises in the story. And Sally's other long-haired films during the period from "Smokey & the Bandit" (1977) through "The End" (also 1979) likewise feature her heavenly locks. Anybody else remember this?
