How often do you trim your hair? My girlfriend is trying to grow out her hair and she trims it every like 3 months and it doesn't seem to be growing. I encourage her not to straighten it, because I have heard it damages it. Do you straighten yours at all?

What is your secret to having amazing hair? What products do u use and how often do you wash? Any tips on hair care that you could give that I could pass along?
