You know, dude... I myself have gotten a couple dates (not much though) just by complimenting a woman's hair. One of the main things I've usually done if I see a woman from afar with extraordinarily long hair, is get to know them first to see if I have anything in common with them. This is why for a while, I enjoyed being outside at large festivals where there were lots of people. I dated a really cute girl once by meeting her at Bumbershoot (an alternative rock music festival up here in Seattle). I used sarcasm in my pickup line, which made her laugh extremely hard... "You have really short hair!", when in reality, it was just grazing her thighs... long thick blonde hair.

The way I met my girlfriend I'm dating right now is through the internet. She's got this beautiful curly thick blonde hair down to her waist, and the rest of her is VERY easy on the eyes. I just paid attention to what she had to say before I said anything about how pretty her hair was. Most girls don't like it when you drool all over them on the first date anyways. Even though I kinda slipped at the end of the date and told her she had pretty hair, we still hooked up, and have been going out for almost six months now. Good times. Good luck for you though, dude.
