I will go out on a limb here, and say what I believe most of us are thinking. No offense hoss, but you sound like a pretty shallow and uncaring boyfriend. If her bending to your every wish regarding her (yes, her, not your) hair is your only criterion for being a good girlfriend, then it sounds like maybe you should let her go so she can find someone who has a broader palette.

I am sure you can find what you are looking for somewhere else as well. Should you do go looking elsewhere, maybe try not to make your indulgence an every time thing. I would agree with her assessment that it does sound like an obsession, and obsessions are seldom healthy.

If you are wondering if you should dump her, there is a fair chance she is thinking the same thing as well. So if this ends up causing you to part ways, at least learn something from it.
