Thanks for the feedback. Actually the problem is with the size of the images. A jpeg after scanning is comming to 1.35mb, which is difficult to upload considering our dial up connection through telephone lines, a mere 2.5kbps. To reduce the file size we r using gif instead. Sorry for the incovenience caused.
